Charger Mobile Phone

Corey Said:

can you take a mobile phone charger and a video camera charger in the hand luggage on a plane?

We Answered:

Yes, you can take this in your carry-on. I do this frequently - the most recent flights being two days ago.

Sidney Said:

Does a mobile phone charger use the same amount of electricity when charging as it does when not charging?

We Answered:

Better chargers will not use any significant electricity when not charging. Cheap ones do and it may be worth attaching them to a power strip that you can easily shut off.

How do you tell? Put your hand on it. If it's warm, then it's wasting electricity.

Buzzing noise from mobile phone charger?

We Answered:

Im not sure about the LG EnV2, but I have sold hundreds of different types of phones and they are never done that normally (only when faulty)

You dont wanna mess around with faulty electronic products and I'd take it back ASAP. There was a news story here of a house fire from a mobile phone charger so you shouldn't risk it.

Im not sure about the companies where you are, but here they have a swap over period for faulty phones and accessories which is generally 14 to 30 days, so it would also pay to get it bak to the store and maybe they can swap it for you.

Hope this helps :)
