I would keep my money and perhaps invite them all over for a potluck dinner. I would put my own immediate family FIRST this year. Due to unforseen bills,and saying you are broke,means exactly that YOU ARE BROKE.so don't give to others this year,just have the potluck,do you realize how much you would be spending on those baskets? How many bills could you cover with the money those would cost,or how much in groceries would that buy for your own family to eat? I am sorry but I do NOT think buying Lindt chocolates for someone else when my own family is in need would be a good thing to do. I would be more than grateful to get a gift like you are talking about,but would feel really bad if I knew they needed the money for themselves and spent it on a gift basket for me,I would really feel terrible and hopefully your own family would feel the same. Keep the money and pay your own bills this year.

Install a small panel as if you were connecting to the grid. This would give protection for all circuits in the house.The generator would plug in via a twistlock outlet which feeds the main breaker in the panel.

Good point, but if you think about it, most devices now can charge from a PC using a usb connection. So, you either need a PC, or a wall adaptor with a USB output.

it seems as though you might have bought a phone with a european charger. I am assuming it looks vaguely familiar to an american charger except instead of having the metal prongs flattened they are rounded, right? If that is your case all you need to do is go to an electronics store and tell them that you need an adapter for a european electrical cord and they should be able to help you. I hope that is what you were refering to!

It sounds like a combination of things but long story short? Yes.... it has had t. The battery sounds like it had entered into the " short cycle " mode where it believes it needs to be charged but the "sticky" image on the the screen followed by the moisture ( Rule number one.....never, EVER take the phone in the rest room as at some point it will get wet or build up moisture inside after a while and stop working) indicate you need to replace the phone. It has had it. Sure, it may work again after a few hours or a day but then IT WILL go out again.
