it will work, but it isn't regulated. It could easily put out over 20 vdc on small loads. I would measure the output unloaded with a meter and compare it to when you hook up your device. This will run most devices as long as they are not too critical on the voltage inputted.

The ratings of 50 amps @ 12vdc is used to tell you at 12 volts this is the max current, not that the output is 12vdc.

it all depends if you put in to much volts into the battery you rune it and if you put to little it doesn't charge if you can find one that puts in the same amount of volts then it should charge. don't use any phone chargers or bike chargers they alwas put out more volts then it says. 12 v wheel needs a 12 v charger that has the same type of port.

If your talking about the end that looks like an 8 then yes it should work fine. That is a unerversual power cable. However if your PS1 has a small single round hole, i would be careful. Make sure the power is the same, you can check this by looking on the bottom, it should tell you what the conversion is, for ex: like 120v to 6v. Make sure your not throwing to much poser into your ps1.

If the cord is the removable type, make sure it is seated properly in the back of the radio. If not, check the cord for damage. The often break near the plug.

First of all, you should not use a battery charger as a source of voltage. Depending on the type of charger, they are not regulated and filtered. A charger is generally a pulsing type of DC as oppose to pure filtered DC. You should use a battery eliminator instead of a charger. You need to know the specifications of the solenoid as to it's power and current requirements to be safe.
