Battery Chargers For Laptops

Duane Said:

Is it just me or are laptop battery chargers peices of crap?

We Answered:

It really depends on your laptop and the quality of the charger. I have my laptop for 4 years now, and I still don't have any problem with the charger. Don't buy from the cheapest place, but buy from a good well known website.

I would recommend buying from Topmic.com because they offer lifetime warranty and free shipping to all laptop chargers at a reasonable price. Considering it comes with lifetime warranty, I think it is definitely worth it to buy from them. If it breaks again, you can return it for free and get another one, but you should definitely have a repair shop to look at your laptop to see if there is anything wrong internally.

Alma Said:

why does my laptops battery run out so quick?

We Answered:

I faced same overheating problem in my DELL inspiron 1525. Actually your 'thermistor' , which is on motherboard , is damaged. There are 2 or more thermistor on motherboard. You have to check the voltage through every one and have to replace one or more. I would suggest you to go to a laptop hardware repairing shop and get the thermistor changed. I have to pay $22 for this and now my laptop is working fine.

Hope this will help.

Are there battery chargers for laptops? Just battery charger, not where you connect a charger to the laptop.?

We Answered:

Hello Louise:

They do exist, however they aren't legitimately created. Most of them are 3rd party created and are not safe at all. In fact, a new external charger (3rd party) would cost you enough money to get the charging port repaired. Make sure it is your charging port since a lot of people get that confused with a damaged charger. Take a careful look and determine that the charger is not damaged (look at the connector tip or the wiring). Once you have determined if it is the charging port, get that repaired. If its the charger you need a new one. I would recommend you visiting Topmic. Topmic is well known for their great services and durable products. You should be able to find them online through google search.

Best of luck.
