Creationists don't think about things. When they say something is a theory, and hence not supported by evidence, here's what they have to reject:

Evolution

Quantum Field Theory

Quantum Mechanics

General and Special Theory of Relativity

Big Bang Theory

and much more. If they had actually bothered to think about what they blathered, they would realize they claiming something is not supported by evidence because it is a theory, means claiming all of science has no evidence behind it.

So if someone believes in the concept of gravity, they should also believe in evolution? How many times have you gone floating of into space, and how many times have you held a neanderthals skeleton? I do believe in the theory of evolution, but I can almost see why some people do not believe in it, and it may sound negative towards theists, but if someone wants to believe in somethings, they will subconsiously decide to show little or no interest in ideas that conflict with the beliefs they want to follow. That is not a dig at religious people, it is a matter of psychology, a willingness to accept one path and ignore others, suspending disbelief, it is the same reason why we read a piece of fiction and do not question the aspects that do not reflect reality, and it is the same reason a hyponotist can get a guy clucking like a chicken on stage.

This is my Fractal Foam Model of Universes:

The cosmic foam of our universe (voids surrounded by walls of galaxies) is the ether foam of a super-universe, and the ether foam of our universe is the cosmic foam of a sub-universe. These are just three in an infinite scale-wise sequence of universes.

The expansion of our space stretches the walls of our cosmic foam until, one by one, bubble walls pop. This radiates pressure waves thru our cosmic foam. The same happens in our sub-universe. The pressure waves in our ether foam are our dark energy.

Distance is a measure of the number of median-size ether-foam bubbles between two points. The distance between distant galaxies increases because the number of ether-foam bubbles is increasing. But popping a bubble wall turns two bubbles into one, which suggests shrinking space. The solution is that the arrow of time reverses from one scale-wise universe to the next. When a sub-universe cosmic-foam bubble pops, one of our ether-foam bubbles un-pops, adding about one cubic Planc length of new space to our universe. This occurs approximately 10^52 times per second per cubic meter.

Ethereal pressure waves propagate at the speed of gravity, which has been estimated to be at least 20 billion times the speed of light. (Einstein & general relativity tacitly assume the speed of gravity is infinite.)

Ethereal shear waves propagate at the speed of light. When a shear wave collides with a pressure wave, there is an exchange of momentum. The amount and direction of the exchange depends on wavelength, polarity and phase. When two shear waves are near each other, they look brighter or dimmer compared to the background of pressure waves, and this results in forces of attraction or repulsion. If the shear waves are attracted strongly enough, they may enter orbit around one another, converting their energy to mass and forming a fundamental particle. Each type of fundamental particle is a chaotic attractor for the random pressure waves and shear waves.

Go with your second possible theory. This is the simplest and also the best setup. It will allow the battery to charge when Generated Electricity is Greater than the electricity being used by the motor and it will allow the battery to act as a regulator keeping the power that is available to the motor fairly constant. A similar system is a car which has Battery, EngineStarter Motor, Alternator(generator) back to battery.

Quite a long time ago, this was a philosophical position taken very seriously, and much was written about it. It has almost been forgotten today.

We know so much more about sub-atomic structure and cosmology today that this view of reality, taken literally, no longer seems to make sense.

It is still a good analogy, though, and certainly provides a powerful mental construct as a starting point for asking deeper metaphysical questions. (Practically everything we think we "know" is just a mental construct, anyhow. Think about it! ;) )
