I don't know the voltage of the batteries in the Radio Controlled car but as long as the solar cell is outputting a slightly higher voltage than the voltage of the car, it will charge the battery in the car. You then connect the positive to negative terminals. But if the solar cell isn't putting out a higher voltage, the car battery will discharge through the solar cell unless there is a diode in the system to block reversed voltage. That should be somewhere in the solar cell connection and that I don't know about. Most cells won't pass current in a reverse direction but it is not guaranteed. Read the directions on the solar cell or contact the manufacturer.
