There was a great special on the history channel a couple weeks ago called end days. you might be interested in it (most likely find it on historychannel.com or youtube.com). it lists everything that could happen. also i like how you mention the asteroid from the bible. the bible also stated that that's not the only lead to the end days. there will be starving and diseases, fire, storms, floods, etc. there are seven angels each carrying out a different kind of disaster on the earth. also if you read revelations carefully and fully it tells you that it wont be the end of the earth but a beginning to a new heaven on earth. the old ways will be wiped from the face of the planet and that God will rebuilt Jerusalem and it shall be the new heaven.
