As a researcher, you are doubtless familiar with the peer-reviewed journals that publish work in your area. Have you authored or co-authored any papers of your own? Have you attended academic and industry conferences and made every effort to take advantage of networking opportunities? Are their recent graduates from your school that are presently employed in industry?

You may be less familiar with commercial aspects. I'd suggest doing a thorough search of patents issued and applied for. This should give you a good idea what companies are doing active research in your field. Once you have a list, visit their websites and study their annual reports to try to assemble a sales ranking. Then start at the top and revisit their websites for information on hiring.

And if you have not already done so, give your resume a thorough rewrite and post it on Monster.com. Be careful to remain factual and honest.

Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell?

First off, get used to using other search engines. Google is a last choice at best if at all- their algorythms miss quite alot.

Your purpose for dying it is? For spectral response? Limiting spectral response?

Your best source for that is likely to be the manufacturer of those specialty sensors. followed by Production Engineering, their electronics or sensors issues.
