No, you can't legalize a substance because you need tax revenue no matter how beneficial the money may be. My main objection for legalization of Marijuana is there is no field sobriety test. This substance like others can dramatically reduce your reflex times and we already have enough people driving while under the influence. Now a person can be charged and taken of the street for just possessing it. If we legalize it, there will be no way you can tell if they are under the influence, urine tests can only test if it has been in a persons system in the last few days. Until this problem is solved I will be 100% against it.

C'mon, Barack! How about like various free programs: recycling for cash, gas to electric car conversions, and dye-sensitized solar cells (a very efficient solar cell with one-tenth the cost of conventional silicon solar cells).
