Electricity can only be transported a relatively short distance. The resistance in the power lines eventually uses up all the electricity in the form of heat. Also, the issue with energy is always cost. Solar power is five times more expensive than either coal power or Nat. Gas. Also, solar does not work at night. So, what will we do when the sun sets, sit in the dark?

I very much doubt that information exists anywhere. At least not anywhere easy to find on line. But the tree uses all the sunlight that hits it for a year, and you can measure the size of the canopy and then rate of growth, or look those things up on line, and calculate it yourself. Don't expect me to do it for you though.
