That's what the inverter takes care of. It synchronizes the phase directly with the mains phase.

I can't give you figures but will point one key thing...
Installing a grid during construction is much easier than doing it post... if you're using an architect, he can tell you the best path. If not, the grid installer should be able to help you there.

Solar cells work best off of IR light and visible light. So, an incandescent bulb will work just fine.

I guess the Solar Power would be, but as for the cost no one knows exactly & i guess that the cost would change from a place to another, depending on the installations.

in electric motors 1 horse power is equal to 746 watts so a small light weight 50 horse power car would need 37300 watts of electric power to keep up with city traffic.
you will need enough photovoltaic cells to cover a small parking lot to generate that much power in real time.
or you can store the power from 10to 12 hours of sunlight on fewer cells to drive for 1/2 hour.
most cars have at least 120 horsepower & many have 300HP or more, so now you see the problem with electric cars.
